Employee Initiatives

Our purpose ‘Caring for Life’ extends to all our employees. Our people are the lifeline of our organisation, for it is their dedication that helps us meet our goals and fulfil our purpose. We remain committed to employee well-being and offer a safe and nurturing work environment that fosters talent, maintains transparency, encourages ownership and boosts professional development.

Our Approach

Our Approach

We believe our employees are our partners and play a crucial role in helping us meet patients needs. We have created an ecosystem that supports the overall well-being of our workforce, focusing on their physical, mental and financial health. We empower our employees to unlock hidden potential and inspire them to create meaningful careers through multiple learning and development opportunities.

Our globally diverse workforce gives us a strategic business advantage by offering nuanced insights and an intricate understanding of specific market realities. To garner these insights and effectively cater to diverse patient needs, we engage with our employees regularly through different modes such as town halls, employee engagement surveys, skip-level meetings, awards and recognition and grievance mechanisms.

Cipla employs nearly 27,000+ people in 17 countries across six continents.
